Ford’s answer to B-segment models like the Mazda 2, Peugeot 208, Honda Jazz, Volkswagen Polo,and Kia Rio is the Fiesta. It is offered here in four variants with three different body styles. There are two five-door hatchbacks, one four-door sedan and a sporty three-door hot hatch to choose from. Prices for the Ford Fiesta begins at RM88,488 and tops off at RM145,500 for the ST variant (discontinued).
The entry-level Fiesta 1.5 Sport Hatchback are powered by a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre engine and a six-speed PowerShift six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission combo, which is good for 112 PS and 140 Nm of torque.
The RM98,488 Fiesta Ecoboost features the award-winning turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder EcoBoost engine that pumps out 125 PS and 170 Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels via the same six-speed automatic gearbox that is found in the 1.5-litre variants.
Additional items found in the Ecoboost 1.0 include 7 airbags, daytime running lights, unique decals, and bodykit.
SDAC has since discontinued offering the sedan and ST variants, focusing only on the two hatchback variants.
As with all the Ford passenger cars, the Ford Fiesta is offered with a five-year warranty or a 200,000km bumper-to-bumper new vehicle warranty.
Also, all Ford passenger vehicles sold in Malaysia, including the new Ford Fiesta, comes with Ford’s Extended Service Plan (ESP). Ford’s ESP is a free three-year or 60,000km maintenance program that covers parts and labour free of charge. The plan also covers free replacements for selected wear-and-tear items such as spark plugs, shock absorbers, engine belts, brake pads, and wiper blades.

Undeniably, Ford’s 1.0L EcoBoost engine is a gem: every bit of its three-cylinders, 999cc and its turbocharger. And with the awards racked up in its favour, here it is, brought to you by Sime Darby Auto Connexion, firmly fitted to its 2014 Ford Fiesta.
