The transmission for the 1.6 turbo is a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and drive is only to the front wheels.
The range topping variant is the turbocharged diesel 2.0-litre R-series CRDI engine. It delivers 178 PS and 400 Nm, driving the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic.

Review: New Hyundai Tucson Turbo – For The Simpler Things In Life, Now Boosted
The top half of the dashboard is also new, complementing the new infotainment screen with a higher quality look and feel (soft touch leather with double stitching wrapping is only available in the Tucson Turbo). We once again sing praises for the ease of use in the new infotainment system. Maps and navigation are loaded within seconds, while music is played immediately through the Android Auto connection. No need for a SIM-card or apps for mirroring, as this is truly the best integration of key apps from our mobile phones into a vehicle.
