Powering the range topping variant is a MR18DE mill that is good for 126hp at 5,200rpm and 174Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. The base manual 1.6 features a five-speed manual transmission, while the other two are fitted with an electronically controlled four-speed torque converter type automatic gearbox.

Equipment highlights in this Japanese MPV includes 15-inch V-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 185/56 series tires, split folding second and third row seats, a multi info display screen, fabric seats, reverse sensors, speed sensing door locks, audio and MID steering wheel buttons, a 2-Din infotainment system that support CD, MP3 and AUX input.

Reserved for the top of the line Grand Livina 1.8 are front fog lights, side mirrors with LED signal lights, Intelligent Key, keyless start switch, front and rear door request switch.

The list of safety features include front seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiters, ABS with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist, dual front airbags, a collapsible steering wheel and the carmaker’s Zone Body Construction tech.

Edaran Tan Chong Motors also offers various optional items for customers to spec their 2017 Nissan Grand Livinas with. Nissan Grand Livina - The Old Faithful

When it comes to affordable compact seven-seaters, the Nissan Grand Livina has been a firm favourite amongst Malaysians. But with nine-years of automotive progress passing it by since its introduction, does the Grand Livina has anything to offer for today’s car buyers.
