The Volvo XC90 is one of the most important models for the company, as it was perhaps the best-selling model of all time.

Volvo Car Malaysia introduced the CKD XC90 T8 in mid 2016, with minimal changes to the equipment. What changed was the price, which saw a massive RM50k reduction when going from CBU to CKD.

Powering the Volvo XC90 T8 is a 2.0-litre twincharged engine that is hooked up to a hybrid system, able to deliver 407 hp and 640 Nm, allowing the large seven-seater SUV to complete the century sprint in just 5.6 seconds.
